Can people love from a distance?
Does love reach across the seas?
Will a faithful heart remain
While it is weakened
By the absence of its other half
And temptation runs wild?

Is love the ultimate connection?
Is that connection ever interrupted?
Can someone honestly say
That he or she feels the same
As they did yesterday
Or twenty years ago?

Is love so appealing
To put up with abuse, to put up with betrayal?
Is it worth all the pain and constant self-doubt?
Will it still feel the same
When your lives on
And you're in a box that is forever your home?
